PaX-i3D Smart is a device by Korean manufacturer Vatech that combines panoramic radiography, cephalometry and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). A single unit replaces an entire radiology suite. The radiation dose from a dental CT scan is 10 times lower than that of a medical CT scanner.
