We restore bone volume wherever it is insufficient for implant placement. 3D planning on our own PaX-i3D Smart CT scanner and atraumatic surgical technique. First consultation is free.
Book a consultationBone grafting (osteoplasty) is a surgical procedure to restore jaw bone volume. After tooth loss, the bone at that site gradually resorbs, and by the time a patient decides to have an implant placed there is often insufficient bone for reliable fixation. Bone grafting solves this problem and creates a solid foundation for the future implant.
At iDent, every surgical procedure begins with 3D diagnostics on the PaX-i3D Smart CT scanner: the clinician sees precise bone volume and density, nerve pathways and sinus proximity. This allows the procedure to be planned with maximum safety and predictability. Depending on the clinical situation, we apply different techniques — from particulate bone graft placement to sinus lift.
A CT scan on the PaX-i3D Smart is taken to assess bone volume and density. The clinician selects the appropriate technique and determines the amount of graft material required.
Surgery is performed under reliable local anaesthesia — or under sedation if preferred. The patient feels no pain.
The clinician places the graft material in the deficient area, covers it with a barrier membrane where needed and carefully closes the gum with sutures. The procedure is atraumatic.
Over several months the graft integrates with the patient's own bone. After a confirmatory CT scan we proceed with implant placement on the newly formed foundation.
The exact cost of bone grafting is determined after 3D diagnostics, as it depends on the volume of the bone deficit, the technique selected and the material used. At the consultation the clinician will show you the scan, explain the treatment plan and quote the final price before any work begins — no hidden add-ons.
No. Surgery is performed under reliable local anaesthesia, and sedation is available for anxious patients. Mild swelling for a few days afterwards is expected and easily managed.
Graft material typically integrates within 3–6 months depending on the volume and technique. In some cases grafting and implant placement can be performed simultaneously — this is determined by the CT findings.
Yes. We use certified materials that integrate predictably with the patient's own bone. The specific choice is made individually by the clinician after 3D diagnostics.
